Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of general dental procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort.
Provide chairside assistance during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Manage operatory setup and breakdown before and after procedures.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred.
Knowledge of general dental procedures and terminology.
Ability to take dental X-rays (certification preferred/required per state regulations).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with dental software systems is a plus.
Current CPR certification preferred.
